More thoughts on the Remarkable II.
Angry Stu made an appearance this week. I really don't like bullies.
Travel
I'm off on my travels this week - taking in Andover, Bristol and London. I've packed some wooly jumpers, hunted out long trousers and smoothed out my waterproof jacket.
As a young man, I relished travel. These days, I'm not such a fan. My dogs are moping about the house this morning, eyeing my suitcase with melancholy eyes. People who say that dogs are dumb animals really don't know dogs.
Once I've negotiated the tiresome theatre that accompanies international travel and am wedged in to my seat, I'll start looking forward to seeing my Mum, catching up with people and generally hanging out in nice places with lovely people. I plan to get some walks in - but I daresay that the weather will have a say in that.
Heaton Park
More horror. An appalling attack on a Jewish synagogue. There can be no justification for such a thing. Incredible bravery from those people under attack and a rapid response from law enforcement prevented things being much worse. Horrible.
Photography
I have flirted with becoming a photographer several times. I don't mean a professional, I mean becoming someone with an understanding of how to take photographs and even use a camera. I do own a Ricoh GRIII bought on impulse several years ago. I have barely used it and don't really know how it works, but I'm taking it on this trip and am going to start learning by doing. I daresay there will be some YouTube tutorials consumed too.
Right. I'm off for some power-queuing, frisking and waiting about.
Have a great week, be nice to everybody.
